Press Release
ENTA welcome ECS to the VGA market.
Milton Keynes, 30th April, 2007
ECS Elitegroup Computer Systems, having very recently entered the Graphics Card market, has appointed ENTA tech as its first official UK authorised VGA distributor. The new relationship forms part of ECS' strategic move to gain market share in the competitive UK market and its drive towards recruiting new resellers since being received to the market with great enthusiasm.
ECS' extensive VGA portfolio sports a variety of new technologies for all entry level to high end enthusiasts' requirements, offering a comprehensive range of solutions to fulfill any customer demand. ECS manufacturers its own components and as result is able to react to changes in the market much faster than many of its customers making them the ideal partner to help stay one step ahead in the fast paced market place.
'We are very excited about the new relationship and how it will increase our channel presence, we hope to capitalize on the experience of ENTA and create a competitive edge within the fast moving VGA market place', says Jennifer Lin, European VGA sales manager, ECS. 'Within the UK there are very few focused and driven distributors of components, with ENTA's continued growth, reputation and financial stability it was an easy decision for us to acknowledge ENTA as an authorised distributor. We are confident that our VGA products are market leaders, ENTA obviously also recognize their potential'.
'ENTA represents both NVIDIA and ATI with its respective partners, and is one of only 6 authorised NVIDIA partners. With our current success selling NVIDIA graphics we acknowledged that another brand was needed for us to expand our portfolio to highlight our commitment to NVIDIA and our continued growth within the graphics market', says Jon Atherton, Group Vice President, ENTA Group. 'With ECS' established brand in the UK and the focus and drive they are putting into the UK, it seems that ECS is a good fit to help us achieve our goals'.
'In the past, the key markets for graphics cards has mostly been System Integrators and Enthusiasts, now, with the introduction of Vista and HD etc, for the first time graphics cards are becoming mass consumer commodities', Jon continued. 'We are attracted to ECS' graphics offerings because of the variety of solutions we are able to offer our customers and are especially pleased with how up to date the technologies they have adopted are. But most importantly by the fantastic price/performance ratio that subsequently we can offer to our customers and we expect will make the cards very easy to sell'.
