The LGA775 945GCT-M and 945GZT-M deliver Intel® Core™2 Duo processing power, responsive integrated graphics with the Intel GMA 950 graphics core and a PCI Express x16 slot for scalable high-end graphics card support. These stable, cool running platforms deliver maximum performance with minimum power consumption and noise.
Entry Level Pricing, Outstanding Performance: Intel® Core™2 Duo processors deliver dramatically increased power and optimized performance for maximum energy efficiency. Dual-core processing speeds everything from downloading audio and video files to CPU intensive applications. Combined with up to 2 GB dual-channel DDR2 533 system memory, these motherboards offer the power needed to simultaneously run multiple processor hungry applications. The Intel® ICH7 south bridge provides unparalleled data throughput for up to four SATAII 3 Gb/s hard disk drives as well as two Ultra DMA100/66 devices. All boards support Hyper-Threading technology and eight USB 2.0 ports for high-speed USB 2.0 peripheral devices.
Integrated Graphics, PCI Express and Vista: The onboard Intel® GMA 950 graphics core delivers rich color, high definition video play back, flexible display options and eliminates the need for a separate video card. If desired, a PCIe x16 graphics card can be used for higher end graphics solutions. With high-definition audio, powerful graphics and up to 2GB dual-channel memory, the 945GC and 945GZ Series are strong Vista Premium ready platforms.
Flexible Digital Output and Expansion Options With two PCIe x16 slots, the 945GCT-M motherboard features ECS' E.D.G.I (Enhanced Digital Graphics Interface) for flexible digital output and expansion options such as a SDVO card, which supports DVI, VGA and TV displays to provide maximum display and video-in flexibility.
A S/PDIF header allows for excellent digital audio support. The 945GCT-M and 945GZT-M offer nearly the same features, but 945GZT-M offers one PCIe x 16 slot (@ x4 mode) for supporting external VGA cards.
