The new miniBooM, mobile iPod docking and speaker system from TwinMOS may be small in size but it belts out superior stereo sound. Ideal for taking out and about, the miniBooM has been designed with the iPod's main purpose in mind… music on the move.
Weighing in at only 1.5 Kg and boasting a tiny footprint, the miniBooM is both compact and portable. It features a 6AA battery facility which will provide over 8 hours of continuous play (as well as mains power) and includes a smart carry case.
A minimalist design makes the miniBooM an attractive gadget, with only a digital display and speaker grills changing the contours of the smooth white/black landscape of the casing. A 2.1 audio system, the smallest but loudest with a class D amplifier (2x 2watt speakers and a 15 watt 3" Sub Woofer) delivers a thick sound composure, belting out noise that consumers AND their friends can share.
Not only is the miniBooM a portable sound and docking system for almost all music players it also includes a digital perpetual calendar, and alarm and sleep functions meaning it will sit comfortably on a bedside table as well as be a musical travel companion. It also includes a digital FM Tuner with 10 preset channels, so if consumers would rather kick back and listen to their favourite radio DJ or be woken up in the morning with a local news update, the miniBoom is the ideal solution. As of October the miniBooM will also be available with DAB Radio as standard, becoming one of the first units available in the UK with such superior functionality.
