The new 4w FoldUp Solar Charger from Solar Technology, creators of the highly acclaimed FreeLoader series of gadget chargers, is a simple, effective and compact way of charging and maintaining 12volt batteries.

The FoldUp is designed to deliver free solar power to any 12volt battery, making it ideal for cars, caravans, motor cycles, trucks, boats and more. It can extend a battery's life span by up to 20% and features a built-in blocking diode which prevents battery drain during the night. So whether preventing a car battery from going flat whilst parked at an airport, or maintaining and extending the life of a caravan battery whilst in winter storage, the Foldup Solar Panel has the power to ensure a battery will work when it is needed the most.

Connecting to a battery couldn't be simpler. The FoldUp is supplied with cables that allow you to either: plug in to a vehicles cigarette socket; or hook up directly to a battery's positive and negative terminals. A charging LED indicator lights up to give a clear indication that the panel is connected and delivering current, as well as, providing an easy way to check that the system is working.

Mains free, the FoldUp Solar Panel is a convenient, portable power solution which is housed in a tough, hard wearing ABS casing featuring a carry handle and a handy built-in stand.
