DESTINATOR SHOWCASES EXPANDED RANGE OF PARTNER DEVICES AT 3GSM

Motorola announces Smartphone-based Navigation System, T815, featuring Destinator software. The T815 package is optimized to run on leading Motorola devices as well as those from other major device vendors.

Destinator Technologies is expanding further into the wireless market by broadening its product portfolio with mobile phone solutions, gearing up to bring navigation to the billions of wireless devices in the world.
Due to its flexible architecture the Destinator software runs on several wire-less platforms including Windows Mobile, Symbian and Linux. In order to cre-ate an individual appearance for the application, the user interface can be adapted to the specifications of the device vendors or the operators.
Following the CES press release in January of the strategic co-operation be-tween Destinator and Motorola, the first product from this venture has been announced as the Motorola Smartphone-based Navigation System T815. It includes an attractively designed GPS receiver and a customized version of the award-winning Destinator navigation software. The product will be pre-sented at Motorola locations at 3GSM, as well as at the Destinator booth (on the Navteq stand), along side other Motorola devices and those from other leading phone vendors.
ASUS, another key partner of Destinator Technologies, has just announced the shipment of its P535, a GPS PDA Phone with Wi-Fi connectivity, featuring Destinator navigation software.
All solutions presented at 3GSM are based on Navteq map material.
